The CAE model enables a detailed prediction of the performance characteristics and limitations of a design before it is actually built which means that the performance of the final design is right first time, without the need for expensive prototypes.

The numerical models used in computer simulations, by definition, are simplified representations of a physical design and it’s environment (load conditions). Load cases are derived from the design targets and successful use of CAE starts with a thorough interpretation of the design targets to identify the most appropriate modelling technique at each stage of the design process.
