Simpact are front runners for innovation, which is demonstrated by our application of 3D Laser Scanning to CAE. As the official scan service provider & consultants for Konica Minolta in the UK we are at the forefront in providing our customers with consultancy & bureau scanning service from our Warwickshire office or on site.

Our 3D digitisation service is provided to our customers in the following options

Photogrammetry - Simple provision of the XYZ co-ordinates of the registration markers placed on the item being digitised.
Laser Scanning (Small Objects) - Our laser scanner is used to produce a dense point cloud of the items surface. The individual scans are registered (assembled) together to produce the complete item in 3D. This process is used for objects such as mobile phones etc.
Laser Scanning (Large Objects)- Our laser scanner is used in conjunction with photogrammetry. The individual scans are assembled automatically to produce the complete item in 3D. This process is used for objects such as vehicle body panels etc.
