Job Description

CAE Engineer in the field of product development using experimental testing and numerical methods

Your work;

  • Identification and interpretation of mechanical load requirements of a system, component or part
  • Interpretation of design definitions into analysis models and FEA model build
  • Interpretation of CAD and engineering drawings
  • Material mechanical property characterisation from laboratory experiments such as quasi-static and dynamic testing
  • Operation of in-house CAE hardware such as our high-speed camera and impact test facilities
  • Building and testing of prototypes

Your role in our company;

  • Working alongside other junior and senior team members on engineering projects
  • Applying engineering skills/experience to produce design recommendations
  • Assisting with our R&D focused activities including liaising with relevant customers and academic partners

For the above, you will follow the processes as laid down in the Simpact ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System
